Diciembre 17 / December 17

Mientras manejabamos en la Isla Norte se nos quebro el vidrio de “Lucy” y es algo que debemos arreglar antes de entragarla. La unica cita que habia era para hoy Sabado en la mañana en Whangarei.

Dejamos a “Lucy” a las 8:00am y fuimos a caminar por la ciudad.

Recogimos a “Lucy” a las 2:00pm y empezamos nuestro regreso a Auckland. En el camino decidimos pasar la tarde en la playa Piha, un lugar que no conocemos. Encontramos un camping al lado de la playa.

Empezamos a empacar todo en las dos mochilas y una maleta para nuestro viaje a Australia… una tarea un poco dificil!

While driving in the North Island we got a small chip on “Lucy’s” windscreen so it is something we needed to replace before handing her over to the new owners. The only appointment we could get in the area was today in the morning in Whangarei.

We dropped “Lucy” at 8:00am and went for a walk around town.

We picked up “Lucy” around 2:00pm and started heading back to Auckland. On the way we decided to go and spend the evening at Piha Beach as it was a place we had not seen. We found a good campground right at Piha Beach.

We started packing everything up in our two backpacks and one suitcase for our trip to Australia… well, not an easy task!
