Dia 98 / Day 98 - October 8/2012

En la mañana nos fuimos para la Catedral de St. Maria de la Gracia, un patrimonio de la UNESCO donde se puede ver “La Ultima Cena” un mural que pinto Leonardo Da Vinci… desfortunadamente estaba cerrado los Lunes. Tratamos de hacer reservacion para ir otro dia pero todo esta reservado. Vimos la Catedral por dentro, muy bonita. Despues estuvimos caminando por el barrio Brera, uno de los mejores barrios de Milan.

Por la noche nos encontramos con Alessandro y fuimos al aperitivo Milanese – donde uno compra algo de tomar en un bar y puede comer todo lo que quiera gratis!... es lo major, se puede comer salami, jamon, queso, brucheta, olivas, etc. Estuvimos en un lugar cerca al Duomo con buena musica y mucha gente.

In the morning we went to the Cathedral St. Mary delle Grazie, a UNESCO heritage site where one can see the “Last Supper”, a wall painting by Leonardo Da Vinci… unfortunately it was closed on Monday. We tried to make a reservation but everything is booked. We saw the Cathedral inside, very spectacular. Later we walked around Brera neighbourhood.

In the evening we met Alessandro to go for the aperitif Milanese – you get to a bar, order a drink and you can have a buffet for free!... it does not get any better than that, you eat a lot of salami, ham, cheese, bruchetta, bread, olives, etc. We went to a great place, close to the Duome with good music and lots of people.
