En la mañana fuimos a ver el atardecer en la terraza del
hotel. Luego salimos para la
estacion de buses a tomar el bus hacia Jodhpur. Salimos de Udaipur a las 8:00am y llegamos a Jodhpur a las
3:00pm.
Nosotros ya habiamos seleccionado Kaser Heritage Guest House
para quedarnos en Jodhpur, asi que le dijimos a un Tuk Tuk que nos
llevara. El conductor del Tuk Tuk
se bajo en el hotel tratando de obtener algo de comision por llevarnos alla,
pero este hotel no les da nada.
Gudu, el dueño del hotel nos dijo que esto ha sido un problema porque
los conductores de Tuk Tuk no les gusta llevar gente alla porque no les toca
nada, pero esa es la manera como el maneja su negocio y le ha funcionado.
Almorzamos en el hotel y disfrutamos de una excelente vista
de la ciudad y del fuerte desde la terraza. En la tarde estuvimos caminando en el mercado, alli
estuvimos bastante rato, viendo todas las cosas que solamente se pueden ver aca
en India.
En la noche comimos en el hotel y disfrutamos de la vista
nocturna de la ciudad.

In the morning we went to see the sunset from the hotel’s
rooftop. We then went to the bus
station to get the bus to Jodhpur.
We left Udaipur at 8:00am and arrived in Jodhpur at 3:00pm.
We had already selected Kaser Heritage Guest House for our
stay in Jodhpur so we took a Tuk Tuk and told him to take us there. The Tuk Tuk driver got off at the guest
house with us trying to get a commission, however this place does not give them
anything. Gudu, the guest house
owner told us that it has been a problem with the drivers because of the “no
commission” policy he adopted… apparently they are not happy with him but he
does not care, he chose to do it that way and it is working.
We had lunch at the guest house and enjoyed a great view of
town and the fort from the rooftop.
We later went for a walk around town and the market. We spent quite some time walking around
and seeing the amazing things you could only see here in India. It was a nice walk.
In the evening we had dinner at the guest house and enjoyed
an espectacular night view of town.

ReplyDeleteTodo tan típico en esas ciudades. El barbero en la estación del bus,me encanta, todas las artesanías son divinas, los colorines de todo, que monton de cosas las que hacen, con razon traen esos contenedores llenos de cosas aca y baratas.
