Dia 291 / Day 291 - April 19/2013

We woke up very early in the morning to go to Poon Hill (3210m above sea level), a mountain where we can see the Annapurna range and the sunrise.  It was 3.7Km round trip.

After one hour of trekking we arrived to the top, getting up there is very tiring because we went from 2879m high to 3210m high; the oxygen starts getting really scarce.

The view was beautiful, we were lucky because it is very clear so we could see lots of the mountains in the range.

We went back to the hotel, had breakfast and started walking to Ghandruk.  After another 20Km we arrived in town.  We settled in the hotel and Marce took a shower.  When I went to take a shower I ended up with the tap in my hand and a spray of cold water hit me on the stomach.  My only resource was to plug it with my thumb, but I could not be there all night.  Marce went for help… an in the meantime I was naked behind the door with my thumb plugging the pipe.  They took a long time to come up with a solution, so I took a shower with cold water and went to get dress.  The water continued flowing to the point that started flooding the room but they were not in a rush to fix it.  They moved us to another room so they could fix the problem.
