Hoy fue nuestro primer viaje en Tuk Tuk, triciclo o alguno
de todos los nombre que le tienen al mejor conocido como Piaggio. Montarse en esto es toda una aventura,
nos recogieron en la casa y nos llevaron a hacer las vueltas de la visa para la
India. El paseo duro como 45
minutos, pero no pudo haber sido mas emotivo…
Estuvimos todo el dia haciendo fila y llenando formularios
para sacar la visa de la India.
Muchas gracias Anupama por esperarnos por horas mientra haciamos todas
estas vueltas!
Regresamos a la casa en bus (35 Sri Lankan rupees), esto es
otra historia… este viaje se demoro como 2 horas, el calor era infernal, las
sillas del bus son forradas en plastico transparente… se pueden imaginar el
calor, se le quedan a uno pegadas las piernas del plastico. Todo es parte del paseo!

Today was our first trip in Tuk Tuk, three-wheeler or
tricycle. Riding one of this
things is a total adventure on its own; we were picked up at the house and went
to do all the paperwork to get the Indian visa. The ride was about 45 minutes, but could not have been more
entertaining…
We were all day lining up and filling out documentation to
get the Indian visa. Thank you
Anupama for waiting for hours while we got this done!
We got back home by local bus (35 Sri Lankan rupees), this
is another story… this ride took us like 2 hours, the heat was unbearable and
the bus seats were covered with clear plastic just to add a little bit more
excitement to the ride.
