mercado.

Today we woke up really early in the morning to go to Horton
Plains, a national park close to Nuwara Eliya. Horton Plains is a cloud forest that not only saves rain; it
actually helps to make it. The hot
air of the lowland rises during the morning hours; it gathers in the trees and
condenses, creating clouds. This
often becomes so heavy that the result in the afternoon is rain.
The walk around the park is 9Kms long and we could see lots of different animals. Inside the park there is also a place called “World’s end”, a vertical drop of
approximately 870 meters where we saw the cloud formation.
In the afternoon we went back to Nuwara Eliya and went to
the market.
