La noche en
el tren no fue la mejor del mundo.
Nos habian dicho que el vagon con aire acondicionado era muy frio, asi
que decidimos comprar tiquetes para el vagon con ventiladores (de todas maneras
no habia tiquetes para el de aire acondicionado); desafortunadamente nadie nos
advirtio que el vagon con ventiladores era muy, muy caliente. Nos acostamos casi a media noche
despues de conversar con otros pasajeros del tren, casi todos turistas. Yo no tuve problema en dormir, me
desperte un par de veces durante la noche y me volvia a dormir, pero Marce no
pudo dormir casi nada, el calor le estaba pegando muy duro.
Llegamos a
Chiang Mai un poco despues de las 3:00pm (nos habian advertido que el tren
siempre se retrazaba). Nos
instalamos en el Hotel Chiang Mai Thai House y nos fuimos a caminar por el
centro de la ciudad.

The night
in the train was not the best.
Somebody had told us that the air conditioned wagon was too cold, so we
decided to buy tickets for the fan only wagon (there were no tickets for the
air conditioned wagon anyway); unfortunately nobody had told us that the fan
only wagon was too, too hot. We
went to bed at around midnight after talking to other passengers, almost all of
them tourists. I did not have a
problem falling asleep, I woke up a couple of times during the night but fell
asleep again quickly; but Marce could not sleep much, the heat was hitting her
really hard.
We arrived
in Chiang Mai after 3:00pm (somebody had told us that the train was always
late). We went to the Chiang Mai
Thai Guesthouse and then went for a walk around downtown.

El trencito "siempre deja que desear", pero al menos los llevo hasta su destino.... se ven lindos paisajes
