Salimos en la mañana para Venecia, tomamos el bus que se
demora como 20 minutos en llegar a la estacion de buses en Venecia. De ahi tomamos “waterbus” #1, que es la
ruta del Gran Canal que cruza toda la ciudad. Estuvimos conociendo por el Gran Canal, nos bajamos en la
ultima parada que es la Plaza de San Marco. Alli caminamos un rato conociendo todo. En la tarde empezo a llover entonces
nos montamos en varios “waterbus” para conocer la ciudad desde los canales.
Por la noche nos encontramos con Nino y su esposa Gesa para
salir a comer. Nino fue un
compañero en el instituto de ingles en Toronto hace ya casi 13 años. Fuimos a tomar Spritz, un coctail
tipico de Venecia. Luego nos
invitaron a comer pollo, que es algo tipico de la region Veneto en Italia.

In the morning we went to Venice, we took the bus that takes
around 20 minutes to get to Venice’s bus station. From there we took waterbus #1, that travels the Gran Canal
from one end of the city to the other.
We saw everything around the Gran Canal, we got off at the last stop,
San Marco square. We walked around
this area seeing everything. In
the afternoon it started raining so we started taking several waterbuses to see
the city from the canals.
At night we met with Nino and his wife Gesa for dinner. Nino was a classmate at the English
institute in Toronto almost 13 years ago.
We went to have Spritz, a tipical Venecian coctail. Then they invited us for dinner, it was
roasted chicken which is something very tipical of the Veneto region in Italy.
